And so it goes History repeating once again You'd think we'd learn but memories are short and shortening i won't be taking sides its multi screen, copy paste and digitally right Im fighting fit with fighting words that never seem to land while up ahead strides a man without a plan i won't be taking sides i won't be part of the lie something that you said, made me think twice something that we did, didn't feel right I've never been one thing, I've always been 5 Now all of us are waiting for the change the content king silencing the critics with a like the mobile man keeping secrets from his wife i won't be taking sides i won't be part of the lie

I wait for the moment to take us to the start where everything is as it was, not falling apart we had it all, this life on a plate you know thats what they all say all the panic all the fear thats written in your eyes theres a part of me that breaks and a part of me that dies no point building futures on real estate you know that it can all change even though we're looking forward now theres a part of me thats running out i can't keep taking on both sides just want to hear that its alright our time could be short or time could feel like forever and a day watching everything we have get taken away I'm seeing it all from the other side and i don't want to be that guy why wait for the time to come around why wait tip we're buried in the ground i know that theres something in the sound where we couldn't get, what we didn't have but we've got it all now

Wake Up 03:31
So we argued through the night Til the dawn became the day On a search for inspiration through this never ending haze You said that they'd be better But they're pretty much the same Swapped the promises and handshakes For the bullshit of the day We're sick to death of soundbites and tired of the lies its hard to make your mind up when your given just one side so wake up Im calling out your name and your falling into line its the times we could have saved if we only had the time the man who took his chances is the man who gets shot down now we only see his weakness where once he stood so proud now we're calling out the neighbours and calling out the sky and theres something in the water and a glint upon your eye so wake up Hey - we're fighting the world again Its just like we started it and ended now wait theres something wrong up ahead this feeling is out of step with what we found i know its next to nothing but nothings all we've got the fear is so much greater than we could have ever thought the wolves are getting closer but we'll hold them off tonight while tomorrow is a new day we'll be alright
